WHAT IS POLICYCAST?

PolicyCast is a weekly audio program of the Texas Public Policy Foundation, exploring the issues facing the Lone Star State. A new edition is available each Thursday. Of course, PolicyCast is taken from another new word in the e-language: podcast. Podcast is a term applied to a broad spectrum of audio "publishing" on the internet. Users are able to subscribe to a "feed" that automatically updates with new installments as they come available. The word itself is a combination of "iPod" and "broadcasting." But one does not need an iPod or any other mobile audio device to enjoy the programming.
